Common Custom Eyewear Logo Options

There are various printing techniques for eyeglasses logos, and different techniques are suitable for different materials of eyeglasses and different design needs. Below are a few common printing techniques:

Five-color pad printing: This is a process that is used more in printing product specifications and brand logos, especially for fine printing of complex patterns. Pad printing can achieve a variety of colors at the same time printing, and adaptability, can be printed on irregular surfaces.

Hot stamping: Hot stamping is a technique of transferring metallic foil or other materials to the surface of eyeglasses by heat and pressure, often used to create high-grade visual effects. This method can make the logo show metallic luster or colorful effect and increase the added value of the product.

Screen printing: Screen printing can produce a more intense three-dimensional sense, suitable for large-area pattern printing. It can realize high-quality printing on a variety of materials by transferring ink through the mesh to the surface of the glasses.

Laser engraving/marking: This technique utilizes a laser beam to engrave a pattern or text on the surface of the eyewear. Laser marking is a non-touch process that allows very fine designs to be realized while being permanent and resistant to wear and tear.

UV sticker: The UV sticker is usually a process of sticking decorative patterns or materials onto the surface of lenses or eyeglasses temples by using UV adhesive. The advantages of UV stickers are simple operation, high adhesive strength, and smooth surface, which can effectively improve the appearance and tactile sensation of the products.

Metal logo inlay: A common treatment involves chiseling out a portion of the front or end of the temples, attaching the metal logo, and then smoothing it out with heat using a clear material.

3D metal logo: The use of three-dimensional metal logos, either flat on the temples (mostly near the hinges) or pinned directly to the temples, as seen on sunglasses with gothic or punk metal styles.

One-piece metal logo casting: A common process is to die-cast a metal logo in one piece on a column of metal and then solder it to the core, as seen on some high-end brands.

Water transfer: The water transfer technique first prints the design on a special water-soluble film, which is then immersed in water, where the film dissolves and the pattern adheres to the eyewear. This technique is particularly suitable for the decoration of complex curved surfaces.

Thermal transfer: Thermal transfer involves pre-printing the pattern on paper and then transferring it to the surface of the glasses utilizing high temperature and pressure. This method is suitable for small-batch personalization.

UV Printing: UV printing uses UV-curable inks that dry quickly and form a hard surface layer. This technology is suitable for occasions requiring abrasion and scratch resistance, but also able to achieve high-definition printing results.
