Key Findings
Asia Dominates Manufacturing: Asian countries and regions including China, South Korea, Japan, and Hong Kong collectively account for approximately 35% of the market, demonstrating Asia’s formidable manufacturing and design capabilities in the eyewear industry. Among mainland Chinese exhibitors, enterprises from Wenzhou constitute nearly half, highlighting the sustained prominence of industrial cluster effects.
Traditional European powerhouses: France, Italy, Germany, Spain, and other European nations collectively account for approximately 58%, reflecting Europe’s established strengths in eyewear design and branding.
France and China: The two nations ranked first and second respectively, collectively accounting for 55% of the total, making them the two major exhibiting countries at the exhibition.
Diverse Participation: Beyond the top eight countries, exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions, including Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Canada, Turkey, and Poland, further underscore the event’s international scope.
The above data indicates that the overall landscape remains largely stable, with minimal fluctuations in the number of participating countries, reflecting the maturity and continuity of the industry’s global footprint. This is evidenced by China’s manufacturing strengths, France and Italy’s leadership in design and branding, and the rapid growth of the Asian market.
SILMO Paris 2026 will take place from September 25 to 28. Let’s look forward to a wonderful event together.
