Brief data on China’s exports of eyeglasses in the first half of 2023

From January to June 2023, the total import and export of China’s national eyewear products amounted to $4.464 billion, with exports totaling about $3.721 billion and imports totaling $743 million.

As can be seen from the chart, the EU, the US, and ASEAN are the most important markets for China’s eyeglasses exports. The EU has the highest share at 23%, followed by the US at 20%, and ASEAN in third place with a market share of 10%.
